I realized one day that I can't escape the "classic" 9-5 rat race.
I realized that I won't get enough money with my "regular" job.
And I realized I'll be stuck in this situation my whole life - if I didn't get this "money" thing solved.
I was stuck within my regular business - I run a successful company - but still, I was chasing the money rabbit. Maybe one day my company will get me out of this. Maybe not.
So, what to do? HOW to add an additional stream of income? Without additional work? (as I was running low on time already)
My Big Realisation
I know I couldn't (and didn't want to) do another job (or, in my case, another "project" for another company). I was at my time limit already.
But I also knew that I need to invest something. And I basically have only 2 resources: Time and Money.
So, if I don't have the time to do it myself, I need to buy SOMEONE else's TIME to do it for me. This is how every big business works.
And then, another strange day - it struck me.
It's not ONE thing that will solve my situation.
It's a combination of 2 things.
I need the right "project" and the right "people" (to do the work for me).
Missing Link #1: The Right Project
I make it simple. A "project" for me is something I invest time and money in and hope to return more money. Plain and simple.
This can be a job where you trade your time against money.
This can be shares in form of stocks, for example.
These stocks are basically a "project" of other people. So, if you can't or don't want to come up with your own project, join another one.
Can this be profitable?
You can bet your a**.
If you would have bought $100 worth of Apple stocks on June 1st, 2002 ... you would have paid $0.26 for the stock.
